Notices for week of April 23, 2017

Jesus breathes on the disciplesGood day dear friends,
In Sunday’s Gospel, the Risen Christ enters into the prison’s of our fears, all that is in our minds that keeps us from the freedom to love deeply from our spiritual hearts. And he invites us to simply breathe, to breathe with him, to breathe the Spirit’s Love, to be the Spirit’s Love, set free from all bondage, and sent into the world, to love and to heal. Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is risen in us, and AS us.

This is one of our two major fund raisers for the year. Your support in donations of gift cards, auction items, desserts for the auction, and of course, spending money at the auction, are all very important. Tickets are $50. For more info contact Deanna Spicer at 589-5340 or dr.dmspicer@nf.sympatico.ca.
The Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 30, following a community pot luck lunch.
The Parish is looking for older pictures of the buildings of St.George, St.Augustine, St.Andrew (the old old one and the newer one), and All Saints. And old pictures of the various congregations and events. We are considering framing and mounting these pictures in the Community Wing of our church house.
Sunday Lunches: All are welcome to stay after liturgy for a little bit of lunch and friendship building.

“Blue Parking”: Please leave parking at entrance and all along the front of Cafe windows for those with disabled parking permits or families with infants.

The Lord Jesus calls us to be a welcoming and Spirit-filled community. As we gather from Sunday to Sunday, and throughout the week,  please make the opportunity to greet and love those whom you don’t YET know.
