An Affirmation of Christian Faith
We believe in God above us,
Maker and Sustainer of all life, of sun and moon, of water and earth, of male and female.
We believe in God beside us,
Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, born of a woman, servant of the poor, tortured and nailed to a tree. A man of compassion, he died forsaken; he descended into the earth to the place of death.
On the third day he rose from the tomb; he ascended into heaven to be everywhere present; and his kingdom will come on earth.
We believe in God within us,
the Holy Spirit of Pentecostal fire, life-giving breath of the church, spirit of healing and forgiveness, source of resurrection and eternal life.
The Prayers of the People
In joyful expectation let us pray to our Saviour and Redeemer, saying “Lord Jesus, come soon.”

Prayer after Communion
Priest: All your works praise you, O Lord.
All: And your faithful servants bless you. Gracious God we thank you for feeding us with the body and blood of your Son Jesus Christ. May we, who share his body, live his risen life; we, who drink his cup, bring life to others; we, whom the Spirit lights, give light to the world. Keep us firm in the hope you have set before us, so that we and all your children shall be free, and the whole earth live to praise your name; through Christ our Lord. Amen
Priest: Do what God wills.
Follow where Christ calls.
Pray for the gifts of the Spirit.
And may the blessing of God the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer rest on you and remain with you now and always.
