Notices: 21 February 2021, Lent 1<\/strong>
Dear friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I pray this e-mail finds you well in your house bubbling during this latest Covid lock down. I also pray that the new strain of Covid spreading in our communities will be curtailed soon and that our level 5 restrictions will be relatively short. It is so important that we abide by the restrictions in order to keep each other safe and to help facilitate a reopening of the communities we live in. Please be mindful of the vulnerable who are living alone. 
Although tiring of Covid, we have the knowledge and tools to better deal with this lock down this time round. 
As Lent begins, Covid has sent us into the desert or wilderness of solitude. We are not alone, Christ, who is our life, is with us. This Sunday we will hear the Gospel story of Jesus entering the solitude of the wilderness to struggle with himself, with that which has the potential to separate us from God. We are invited to follow him on this inner path of self awareness that eventually opens up to new life and God or Love awareness.
