Jesus does not suffer and die on the cross to pay a price for our sins (what kind of horrible God would that be). Jesus offers himself to die on the cross to reveal to us and invite us into the Unitive Life of Divine Love, the Christ Life. We all share in the Christ Life, it is our deepest identity, and neither sin nor death can separate us from it. Jesus dies, and his Christ life remains. This is the same truth for all of us from all eternity. The Reign of God, The Reign of Divine Love is within you, waiting to be discovered and lived out of. But your small and surface self must learn to die first. Thanks be to God for Jesus\u2019 death and resurrection. Alleluia Christ is risen. The Lord is risen indeed.
