Silvestre and Mrs. Thelma Romero will be visiting our Diocese in May.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During their visit, there will be public events for you to attend. Bishop Sam will discuss his vision for the Diocese and the goals of the Set Sail strategic plan. Participants will consider how the goals can be interpreted and realized in their own local contexts. Attendees should be able to return to their parishes with a good understanding of what comes next on our journey, together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Father Richard Rohr<\/strong>&nbsp;is a contemporary leader in the deepening faith and spiritual practice movement throughout the Christian church. If you would like a little more help and encouragement in deepening your own faith and spiritual practice, in addition to what is available in our parish, go to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cac.org\/\">www.cac.org<\/a>, and at the top of that page, subscribe to Father Richard\u2019s daily e-mails. I highly recommend it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A new s<\/strong><strong>ix week Revive course&nbsp;<\/strong>will begin on Tuesday, May 9, \u201cCalled for Ministry.\u201d Please keep this important discipling ministry in your prayer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cRevive\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;is a program that helps equip lay leaders to be spiritual leaders. The participants will learn about themselves and discern their life\u2019s calling; explore their faith journey and enter into a relationship with God; enjoy a sense of community and deepened relationships with peers; gain confidence with prayer, scripture, and spiritual leadership; and discern gifts for their calling to serve God\u2019s world.
