The summer season is upon us and many of you will be
taking holidays and resting – which is all very good and necessary. And I pray God’s blessing upon you as you do so, that you may be refreshed and re-created during this time.
Please be mindful of your need to pray and to worship wherever you may find yourself.
And please be mindful of the needs of your church during this season.
The Vestry has launched the “Sunshine Campaign” to encourage an extra offering this summer, over and above what you would normally give. There is a note below about it, and you should be receiving a letter.
Post dated cheques would also be very helpful. But of course the best option for your church would be for you to be automatic deposit. If you may be interested, please speak to Alfred Efford or one of the wardens.
We have some new outreach initiatives for this fall. Check below for more details.
Also, our web page has been re-vamped and will be launched very soon.
With much Love,
We are in the process of launching our new summer Sunshine Campaign. This is an invitation for all of us to make an extra offering of $50 (or more or less) to help us get through the slower summer months. You will be
receiving a letter from the vestry making this request. For more information or to make your donation, contact the rector’s warden Lynn Clarke at 786-1798, or the people’s warden Gary Myrden at 786-0232.
Our parish web page has been re-vamped and has a new look. Check it our at www.anglicanresurrection.com
The Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at 11am. Breakfast and Bible Study at 9am.

During July, Deacon Gladys is to be contacted for any pastoral emergencies or funerals; Alfred Efford or either of the wardens are to be contacted for any administrative issues.

“Come and see” (John 1:39). Remember to pray about and encourage your family and friends to share in our community of faith.
This fall the Anglican parishes of the Trinity Conception Bay Regions plan to acquire a shipping container, fill it with books, school supplies, clothes, building materials, etc. We will then send it to the school in Mahogany Heights in Belize. The container will be converted to a Worship centre and dining hall by a group of approximately 20 volunteers from this area. We estimate the project will cost approximately
$25,000. We invite you to donate funds or materials to be used in this worthwhile project. Money donations for this mission are to be given through the parish. For the Material donations for the container, contact Canon Bill Strong.
