Notices for Week of 31 January 2021

Notices: 31 January 2021, Proper 4

Dear friends,

This Sunday we will hear the Gospel story of Jesus teaching and the power of his word to heal. The Word of God is powerful and transformative. But we need to have ears to hear. That is, our heart spaces need to be open in order for us to hear and connect with the Living Word of God. If we are too full of self, we will never hear and be transformed.

Love,

Father Gerald+

We have a new microphone (a second one) to compliment our new audio visual equipment. At around $1200, it is expensive. We have a donation to cover half the cost. If you could make a donation to help cover the rest of the cost, it would be greatly appreciated. In your donation note, write “new microphone.” The quality of the recording of the liturgy is important, especially for those listening from home.

Annual Reports are now due. If you have been giving leadership to one of the various ministries within the parish, please prepare and submit your annual report.
