Notices for Week of February 7

Notices: 7 February 2021, Proper 5
Dear friends,

This Sunday we will hear the Gospel story of Jesus casting out demons and evil spirits. The evil spirits that can possess us are not entities from outside of ourselves. The evil spirits that can possess us are from within ourselves. The enemy to life is within. That is to say, YOU are the enemy. The less full of “self” we are, the more room there is for us to be filled or possessed by God’s Spirit of Love. To follow Jesus is to learn to die to self and to open up to the larger life of Love.
Love,

Father Gerald+

If you could make a donation to help cover the rest of the cost, it would be greatly appreciated. In your donation note, write “new microphone.” The quality of the recording of the liturgy is important, especially for those listening from home.

Annual Reports are now due. If you have been giving leadership to one of the various ministries within the parish, please prepare and submit your annual report.

Envelopes for 2021 available on the table to the right of the entrance to the oratory.
