Notices for Week of 12 March 2023

Notices: Lent 3, 12 March 2023

Good day dear friends,

This Sunday we will hear the Gospel story of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman. It is a story that is rich in meanings and truths. Foundationally it is a story about abundant life and love, and the inclusive and universal nature of this Divine Reality. The Good News is that there is no “outside” of God. This Living Reality is within us waiting to be discovered.

Father Gerald+

The participants will learn about themselves and discern their life’s calling; explore their faith journey and enter into a relationship with God; enjoy a sense of community and deepened relationships with peers; gain confidence with prayer, scripture, and spiritual leadership; and discern gifts for their calling to serve God’s world. Please pray for those participating in this program this winter.

Good day folks,

After 17+ years our current electronic piano is having some problems. The parish has purchased the instrument already as music is a vital aspect of our liturgy and one I’m sure you would not want to be without. Starting this Sunday we will be having a campaign to cover the cost of a new electronic piano.

The Campaign is called:

Buy a Key, Share in the Music.

Each key will cost $45.

You can buy more than one key or share the costs of a key with someone.

Payments can be made by cash , cheque or EMT to the parish. If you are using cash or cheque, please ensure you write  “keyboard or piano “ on the outside of the envelope. If using EMT, please write “keyboard or piano “ in the comment section ( This will ensure proper credit to you and to the campaign. And let Valerie know that you have made a donation.

Thank you all for your continued support of this parish

Make a joyful noise,

Please let Valerie know if you want your donation to be anonymous.
