Good day dear friends,
This Sunday we will hear the Gospel story of Jesus’ encounter with the blind man. There can be so many forms of blindness in our lives. The most damaging form of blindness is our lack of capacity to “see lovingly,” to see others with a loving gaze. This is a spiritual blindness that continues to polarize the world that we live in. For us as Christians, every time we encounter the Christ Life, the Love Life, our spiritual blindness is diminished, and we begin to see others as Christ sees others – with non judgemental and compassionate love.

2022 tax receipts are now ready for pickup on the table at the entrance to the Oratory.
The Parish is offering FREE INCOME TAX COMPLETION sessions. This service is available to seniors and lower income clients. The service will be available on Saturday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 pm or an appointment can be made by calling Bob at 683-0879.
After liturgy on Palm Sunday April 2, we will be doing an Easter wreath activity with the children. This will highlight the life of Jesus from Palm Sunday to Ascension and how endings can also be beginnings. All materials will be provided. Please spread the word and let Lynn (683-1270) know if you will be attending.

Resurrection Yoga: Wednesday’s at 9:30am.
Alternative Spiritual Community (Group Meditation): Wednesdays at 11am.
Scones and Tea: Wednesday’s from 10:30 to 1pm.
The Way of Love: Wednesday’s at 1pm.
Knit Wits: Wednesday’s at 2pm.
Alcoholics Anonymous: Thursdays at 8pm.
Breakfast the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8am to 11am.

After 17+ years our current electronic piano is having some problems. The parish has purchased the instrument already as music is a vital aspect of our liturgy and one I’m sure you would not want to be without. Starting this Sunday we will be having a campaign to cover the cost of a new electronic piano.
The Campaign is called:
Buy a Key, Share in the Music.
Each key will cost $45.
You can buy more than one key or share the costs of a key with someone.
Payments can be made by cash , cheque or EMT to the parish. If you are using cash or cheque, please ensure you write “keyboard or piano “ on the outside of the envelope. If using EMT, please write “keyboard or piano “ in the comment section (finance@anglicanresurrection.com). This will ensure proper credit to you and to the campaign. And let Valerie know that you have made a donation.
